Ivan is a United States Air Force veteran with over 20 years of service to his country. Ivan has had three combat tours, two of of which were to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. Ivan spent 14 years of his career as a firearms instructor, who was also tasked with maintaining pistols, shotguns, rifles, medium machine guns, and heavy weapons such as the M2 and MK19. Ivan oversaw the largest small arms inventory in the Air Force, containing over 80 different weapons systems manufactured between 1903-2005.
Ivan is a combative instructor and Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner. He is trained in long range shooting and close quarters battle (CQB). Ivan is also a MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) Low light CQB Instructor.
Ivan serves as general gunsmith and assistant instructor for Operators360. He is responsible for the care and maintenance of all weapons systems and associated equipment used during training. The knowledge and experience regarding firearms Ivan has acquired during his military service, along with his easy going demeanor make him an asset to Operators360.
